Chapter 1 -- Being True -- Sophia's POV -- just another boring summer day . I hated it . I was too bored . so , I called Mary . she didn't answer . it made me sad , then a few seconds later , I heard ' All I Want Is Everything ' play . it was Mary ! yeahh ! I answered . ' what's up ? ' she asked . ' im just bored . you wanna go to beach ? ' I asked hoping for a yes . ' of course ! ill be over in 2 seconds ' she said . I hung up and waited . soon , I heard the door close downstairs . I ran downstairs . I saw her . ' ready ? ' she asked . ' yeaa ' I said . we both ran out . soon , we got to the beach . well boardwalk . we just walked , and talked . I was thinking . I mean I was listening , but just thinking . about school . I was going into 9th grade . even harder than 8th grade . ' HELLO ! ' someone shouted as they hoped on my back . it was our friend Michelle ! ' heyyy girlie ' Mary said . ' holaa ' I said . we had all been best friends since FOREVER ! she got off my back , and just walked with us . we all laughed always . then , I saw 3 boys . they caught my eyes . ' look at those boys over there ' I whispered with a smile . they were all cute , but the one on the end was the most . he had braces , a fauxhawk , like my brother . black v-neck . LORD , am I in heaven ? ' the one on the end is cute . ' Mary said . I got nervous , yet mad . ' which one ?! ' I asked . ' the one with the perfect smile , blue shirt , black shorts . ' she said with the biggest smile on her face ...
